After months of urging Erie City Council to reconsider demolition of the McBride Viaduct, the non-profit group Erie CPR is in the process of taking legal action.
Erie CPR President Adam Trott says he is now filling out paperwork filing an injunction to delay the project and get a public hearing. Trott says significant changes have occurred in the demolition project over the years that call for a public hearing and since City Council has not taken any of their concerns into consideration, he says it's time for legal action.
We will have more on what this means for the future of the bridge tonight at 5pm.
