ERIE, Pa. -- In just three years, Erie’s smallest craft brewery has made a big name for itself.
This year, Erie Ale Works, located at W 12th and Chestnut streets is expecting to double its production of craft beer this year.
President and co-owner Jeff McCullor invited guests to learn about the success and to share with the community how he and Steve Anthony, the brewery’s vice president and co-owner, are “brewing a brand.”
The microbrewery identified itself as “a brand where sarcasm and beer go hand in hand.”
McCullor said, “we’re in the business of beer and it’s fun by nature; but it’s also really hard work. So, when you come in and you talk to us, we’re not going to be stingy. We’re not going to be the people you can’t approach, because it’s a fun industry and we want to convey that back to the customer.”
The presentation was sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America Northwestern Pennsylvania Chapter.
