Erie native James Conner rings opening bell of New York Stock Exchange

ERIE, Pa. -- James Conner was among the group of Pitt football team captains and coach Pat Narduzzi to ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday morning.

Conner, a McDowell graduate, and the Panthers are in New York City ahead of Wednesday's battle with Northwestern in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

Kick off is set for 2 p.m. at Yankee Stadium and will be televised on ESPN.

Wednesday's game will be the last for Conner in a Pitt uniform after the redshirt junior declared he will enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
