According to a new survey conducted by Gallup, Erie is among the lowest scoring cities across the country for the state of American well-being.
Erie was in the bottom 10 of 189 communities in the poll, however, health experts said this is a chance for people to evaluate their lives and make a change.
Erie ranks No. 181 out of 189, falling in the lowest well-being communities.
The survey, conducted by Gallup-Healthways, analyzes which city leads and lags across five elements of well-being including purpose, social, financial, community and physical.
