The price of a single copy of the Erie Times News Sunday Edition is going up by 50%. This is the first increase to the Sunday paper since 2013.
The $2.00 paper will now cost $3.00. Publisher Ken Nelson put out a release confirming the increase, calling the paper unparalleled with its wide range of award-winning coverage.
Nelson also pointed to what he called "the largest advertising package of flyers, print ad's, and coupons".
The increase only affects single copy sales, whether they are in-store or delivered. No reason was given for the need for the increase.
