ERIE, Pa. -- Millcreek Township's oldest building will be transformed into the newest escape game location in the region.
The former Nicholson building, which was built in 1826, will soon be home to Erie's next interactive puzzle game.
Some game rooms have themes based off of Erie's history with one room expected to highlight the U.S. Brig Niagara.
Gamers will be trapped in the captain's quarters, working to pass the captain a note, or escape the room before time runs out
"Some of every ticket sale will go back to the Flagship Niagara League,” owner David Wedzik said. “We're going to have authentic Niagara things in the room."
The new location is expected to open mid-January.
"For us to move into and expand our business here and be able to retain the house exactly as it is, is exciting for us,” owner Jennifer Wedzik said.
