Expert tips to de-stress this holiday

The holidays are a fun-filled, but often stress-filled, time for many.  In trying to make the holidays special for our families, there comes pressure on both our time and our wallets.  

So, instead of focusing on the hustle and bustle, it's important to remember why you're doing it and why it brings you joy.  Experts advise to keep up your normal routine.   Dr. Michael Roizen of the Cleveland Clinic says, "Whether it is meditation or whether it is guided imagery, or whether it is yoga, or whether it is exercise, or whether it is just a walk with your spouse or a friend or whatever... you should keep doing those things that both bring you joy, and help you manage stress."

And, remember to schedule time for yourself.  Even if it's one day a week or one afternoon.  That will help you deal with any stress the holidays may bring.
