This weekend is a chance to see Presque Isle State Park in a different way.
Tractor-drawn wagon rides are available throughout Presque Isle State Park beginning tomorrow at 11am. The rides will be all weekend long starting at Beach 11, but the rides offer more than just views.
Jon DeMarco, Executive Director of Presque Isle Partnership, tells us, "They'll also be narrators on each wagon ride. Thanks to PI State Park educators, Emily and Stacey will be there to give you a little bit of history about things like the houseboat, the coast guard station, North Pier... sand replenishment. An educational and scenic family-oriented event."
The cost is $6 per person, children under two are free. Each ride lasts between 20 to 25 minutes.
