Fire damages home near Cambridge Springs

Red Cross called to help family

CAMBRIDGE SAPRINGS, Pa. - Fire breaks out in a Crawford County home late Sunday.

Fire crews were called to the 24000 block of Plank Road (near Cambridge Springs) just after 10p.m. Sunday to battle a structure fire.

When crews arrived, flames could be seen coming through the roof of the home.

According to Cambridge Springs Fire Chief Jeff Murdock, damage was limited to the attic and second floor of the house.

All of the occupants were able to get out of the house; the Red Cross was called to help the family.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
