Fire damages a west Erie pizza shop and has investigators looking for a cause.
Erie fire crews were called to Luchetti's Pizza on West 26th and Raspberry streets around 11:30 Saturday morning. The first units on scene reported a working fire in the building. The business was not open at the time, and no injuries are reported.
"Upon arrival, first companies reported smoke showing. It was unoccupied at the time. We forced our way into the building. We did find fire in the rear of the building and were able to quickly knock it down. Now, it's a matter of ventilating to get the smoke out and have our inspector to check to see if we can determine a cause."
The damage to the building was not severe.
No word on when Luchetti's will reopen.
