Erie's biggest karaoke contest is returning for the fifth year as vocalists from all over the region are invited to take part in the return of FOX 66's Noteworthy singing competition.
The competition will take place at venues located in Millcreek Township, Meadville and into Titusville this year. The contest begins Jan. 13 at the Millcreek Brewing Company.
Registration is at 8 p.m.
"We want to stress that you don't have to sing karaoke,” FOX 66 marketing and sales consultant Heather Headley said. “If you play an instrument and have some originals, please come out. One of our finalists last year played a ukulele.”
The winner receives $1,000 cash, and local nonprofits will receive a $1,000 prize at the end of the competition.
