Today's service honoring Gannon military members who died in the line of duty with a special wreath-laying ceremony.  Veterans and their families were welcomed to attend along with members of the ROTC 'Pride of PA' battalion.  Retired Erie County Judge and Major General Michael Dunlavey was the Guest Speaker for today's salute, addressing the future soldiers in the crowd.

"What these young kids need to know is that these are the sacrifices that were made for you and these may be the sacrifices you have to make for the future generations because that is what could happen and very well may happen," says Dunlavey.

Logan Clarke, Junior at Gannon University, says, "it's really worth it, whenever you get a chance to sit back and remember why you are doing it and why our country is the way it is, because of the people who served before us".
