Grandparent's Day at Erie Day School

A diverse group gathering at Erie Day School for an annual celebration.  'Grandparent's Day' celebrated today at the school.

The day started in the school auditorium with a program on the stage.  Then, students shared with their 'Grands' classroom projects.  Each class, singing or performing a specific song with a zoo theme.  Julie Kresge, Director of Development and Marketing at Erie Day School, says, "all of our grandparents get to enjoy the balance of the morning with our students in the classroom, so they'll learn what goes on day-to-day at Erie Day School."

Grandparent's Day was established in 1978 by President Jimmy Carter.
