High School students take on EUP

Business-minded High School students from the Tri-State area take on college this week at Edinboro University.

18 students will spend the week at the University for the Fifth Annual Xavier and Tina Williams Summer Youth Business Academy.  The academy will be taught by faculty and business leaders from the Erie region.  These High School students will learn about business and entrepreneurship.

"We need people to come up with new ideas and to be invigorated and to come up with new businesses to help rejuvinate Erie... and we're hoping it'll help with that," says Scott Miller, Dean of the School of Business at EUP.

At the end of the week, each teach will present a new business idea to a panel of judges comprised of University faculty, administrators, and local business leaders.
