House fire may have started in two different locations

A house fire on East 24th Street causes some trouble for Erie firefighters.

The fire was reported in the 900 block of East 24th Street around 9:30 last night. Reports from the scene indicate heavy smoke coming from the attic and a possible fire in the basement as well.  It took firefighters about an hour to bring the blaze under control. The building was reportedly vacant at the time of the fire.

The cause of that fire has not yet been determined.
