House shot overnight

Police looking for suspects

ERIE, Pa. - Police are investigating, and reviewing surveillance video, after a house is shot up overnight.

It happened in the 700 block of Rosedale Avenue just before 2a.m.

Police say the gunfire came from a silver SUV, but the vehicle sped away before witnesses could make a positive identification of a suspect. A total of eight bullets hit the house, where five people were reportedly sleeping, while other bullets hit nearby cars.

Twelve shell casings were recovered from the scene, and no injuries are reported.
