It won't be long before all of those ghosts and goblins set out to trick and treat and this year, they will also be able to TREC or Treat.
It's that time of year when everyone gets their scare on as Halloween Night draws near. For the staff at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, it's not time to trick or treat, but rather TREC or Treat between 10am and 2pm on October 28th.
John Laskos of Presque Isle State Park says, "this is open to families of children of all ages, it's a free event. Come to the Tom Ridge Environmental Center to visit several spooky tables and pick up treats along with way".
Each year, the highlight of TREC or Treat is a spooky movie on the big screen. This year, the movie is Toy Story... of Terror...
"First Energy is proud to sponsor the Halloween movie for TREC or Treat," says Bill Jerin of First Energy. "We've been sponsoring the movie for the past five years and it's great for the kids and it's great for the City of Erie."
TREC or Treat is October 28th from 10am to 2pm. It's free to enter and showtimes for Toy Story of Terror are at 11, 12, and 1.
