Suspect arrested after leading police on a chase through Jamestown area.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers attempted to pull over 21-year-old Damien Parisi on Camp and Hebner streets in Jamestown around 1am Monday morning for driving without headlights on. Instead of pulling over, the suspect sped off, leading police on a chase through the town of Ellicott and into Ellery. Parisi was stopped on Route 430 near Bemus Point (about 10 miles away) after police laid down a stop trap which punctured the tires of his vehicle.
At that point, Parisi was taken into custody and police seized a quantity of crystal meth. Parisi will face multiple charges, including unlawful fleeing and criminal possession of a controlled substance, and multiple vehicle, traffic, and criminal charges pending further investigation.
