A judge ruled that Jeffrey Sandusky will serve 3.5 to 7 years behind bars and 1 year of probation.
The adopted son of former Penn State Football Coach and convicted child abuser Jerry Sandusky pleaded guilty in September to 14 counts including statutory sexual assault, sexual abuse of children and solicitation to record sexual acts. The defense was requesting a sentence of 3 to 6 years but the commonwealth argued Sandusky meets the definition of "predatory behavior" and wasn't worthy of a reduced sentence.
Jeff Sandusky is also placed on tier three on the sexual offender registry which means he will stay on the list for life.
