ERIE, Pa - Thursday, September 21, 2017 - Jr's Last Laugh season begins a milestone season tonight.
This is Jr's 20th year of laughter. The comedy club has been bringing comics in Erie, downtown since 1999, for twenty years. Jr's started at the Sportsman's club on West 8th street in Millcreek, then moved to the Fairfield Fire Department for another year. In 1999, Steve McGarvey helped Jr's relocate to downtown Erie on West 14th and State streets.
Jr's operates from the end of September to May, bringing new and veteran comics to Erie. During the summer, Dave Litz Jr and his wife focus on their second business - The Sloppy Duck.
Kicking off the 20th season is Rocky LaPorte with shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
