Jury selection set to begin next week in alleged police brutality case

ERIE, Pa. -- An alleged Erie police brutality case will go to trial next week.

Montrice Bolden is charged with aggravated assault after police officers reported walking up to Bolden's parked car and smelled marijuana.

While Bolden was frisked by police, he allegedly ran from them.

Police also say he tried to attack them and attempted to reach for one of their guns during the incident.

Bolden reportedly continued to resist arrest and was tased twice by officers.

Jury selection begins Monday.
