The Erie County Coroner is suspecting the limb found last week is from a plane that crashed in Cleveland.
Lyell Cook, Coroner, ruled out the leg found near the Elk Creek Access last week as not possible to belong to the missing boater, Karen Leclair. He now suspects it could be from a Cleveland plane crash in December that claimed the lives of six people. However, he says DNA testing needs to be done.
"We believe that all six victims in that Cleveland plane crash have DNA profiles on file, so it should be a fairly simple matter to see if any of them match."
