Journalism and academia meet at the crossroads of free speech and ethics this evening.
A panel discussion on ethics in journalism and the importance of the first amendment held tonight at Mercyhurst University. The event held in recognition of the upcoming Constitution Day on September 17th.
The panel, made up of members of Mercyhurst's philosophy and communications department as well as working journalists in the area. Topics ranged from covering the Trump administration to the role of journalism in the new media environment.
