An Erie man accused of assaulting a woman and holding her against her will pleads guilty in court.
41-year-old Luis Burgos pleads guilty in a plea agreement with the state to one count of resisting arrest. In the agreement, the charge of aggravated assault is dropped. Police say Burgos kept the victim at his west 4th street home for hours assaulting her and pointed a gun at her head.
Police report she was able to escape out a window, but Burgos picked her up a short time later, assaulting her again before she was released. He is set to be sentenced in November.
