An Erie man is behind bars, accused of buying thousands of dollars worth of items with stolen credit cards that he is said to have taken from multiple vehicles in the area.
Pennsylvania State Police, Millcreek and Erie Police all charging 30 year old Allen Hanner Junior. Investigators accuse Hanner of breaking into vehicles in Erie, Millcreek, and Harborcreek throughout the month of October. They also accuse him of using cards he allegedly took from the vehicles at several local stores, racking up several thousands of dollars in credit card bills.
Chief Don Dacus of EPD says, "our detectives communicated with surrounding law enforcement; Millcreek... The State Police... and they were able to connect him to other thefts in the region".
Hanner was arraigned Friday by State and Millcreek Police and Erie Police filed charges Monday. Hanner is in the Erie County Prison on $60,000 bond.
