Man accused of causing motorcycle fatality gets five years probation

27-year-old George Crawford was sentenced to five years probation with nine months of electronic monitoring on one felony count of accidents involving death.  Judge Garhart also ordered Crawford to pay a $1,000 fine. 

George Crawford pleaded no contest to driving a white pickup into the path of 41-year-old Matt Love of Waterford on upper Peach Street in August of last year.  Love attempted to avoid the truck and lost control of his motorcycle. 

He died from his injuries three days later.
