Man arrested for breaking into New York Lunch

ERIE, Pa. -- A homeless man was arrested after police said he broke into a local diner looking for food.

Douglas Lewis, 55, is charged with burglary and theft after police said he broke into New York Lunch, 1005 Parade St., early Wednesday morning.

Police said he smashed the glass window, setting the alarm system off. When police responded they found Lewis intoxicated and in possession of $50 in cash, Bluetooth speakers and uncooked hot dogs.

Lewis is in Erie County Prison on $25,000 bond.
