Man turns home into haunted house

ERIE, Pa. -- A local man has turned his home into a haunted attraction every year and this Halloween is no different.

It's a tradition home owner Jerry Waidley said is now on its 24th year.

Each year on Halloween he invites the community in for a spooky walk around his home he calls the "Roads End Erie Manor."

Vampires are this year's inspiration for the haunted walk.

"It's going to be fantastic weather,” Waidley said. “Halloween is a great way to wrap up in a season and we hope to see a whole bunch of people.”

About 30 people volunteer to make the scary night possible.

The attraction, at 113 E. 35th St., is free and is open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday
