Millcreek superintendent's contract extended to 2023 at $178,000 per year

The Millcreek School Board approves a new five year deal with its superintendent.  The new contract between Bill Hall and the district was voted on last night.  It goes into effect July 1st and pays Hall $178,000 a year to stay on the job.

Hall became superintendent in 2013.  Board members credit Hall with leading a "remarkable turnaround" including excellent student achievement scores and sound finances.

School Board President John DiPlacido says, "We couldn't be happier with past performance. The district has made significant strides under his leadership."

Hall says that it's "Really satisfying, really exciting and I'm just thankful for the opportunity to continue to serve the residents and students of this great school district."

The new contract keeps Hall in the district's top job until June 30th, 2023.
