Minimum wages going up in 21 states; Pennsylvania not one

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Minimum wage is going up in 21 states including all of Pennsylvania's neighboring states. But Pa's will stay put at $7.25.

"Fight for Fifteen" rallies were held across the state throughout the year, as Pennsylvanians pushed to increase minimum wage to $15 dollars an hour.

While neither Maryland, Ohio nor New York will increase their minimum wage that much, some will see increases of one or two dollars starting in 2017.

Ohio's minimum wage will soon be $8.15.

New York's will vary across the state between $9.70 and $11 an hour.

Maryland's minimum wage will be set at $9.25 an hour starting in July.
