ERIE, Pa. -- Jury selection was underway Monday morning for the trial of a man accused of shooting and killing an Erie teen in 2015.
Darion Eady, 22, is accused of killing 16-year-old Elijah Jackson while at a house party at West 29th and Summit streets in July 2015.
Eady is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Shakur Franklin, also 16, was killed in the incident.
Demond Mitchell, Stephen Russell, Jahaun Jones and Keshawn McLaurin are charged with the death of Franklin. Last October, a judge granted a motion filed by Eady's attorney to have a separate trial from the other four suspects.
The trail for the four men is scheduled for April 24. The four suspects will face trial together.
