Musicians break barriers at the Barber National Institute

Musicians broke barriers at the Barber National Institute.

Hundreds of people danced to the band Spectrum Friday night.

The performers picked that name because all four band members are on the autism spectrum.

The event kicked off Expanding Social Opportunity's (ESO) dance series.

"They love coming here and just to see how excited they are to see their friends and see the volunteers that come every time. It's just been an amazing experience to be a part of this," said Jaclyn Zacherl, the ESO coordinator.

Spectrum plays everything from classic rock, to blues and pop music.
