National Farmer's Day observed today

As you eat lunch or think about what you'll be making for dinner later; celebrate the people who grow that food.  National Farmer's Day is observed annually on October 12th as a day to pay tribute to all farmers throughout American history.  

Some cities and towns across the United States have their own versions of Farmer's Day, with celebrations and festivals on various dates during the year.  

You can celebrate today by stopping out at one of the local farmer's markets below:
