Erie, PA - A reported near drowning sends a one-year-old child to the hospital.
Erie Police and firefighters were called to a house in the 400 block of West 8th Street just after 8 o'clock Tuesday evening. Reports from the scene identified the victim as a one-year-old boy who was rushed to UPMC Hamot in cardiac arrest. According to Erie police, the child was in a bathtub and has been flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Police say two men who were at the house were being questioned at the police department.
A third person who was there, a woman, went to the hospital.
There's no word on the child's condition at this hour.
