No injuries reported in violent tractor-trailer collision

Tractor-trailer slammed into rear of another semi

NORTH EAST, Pa. - A man walks away from a violent collision between two tractor-trailers overnight.

The crash happened at 1a.m. on the Interstate 90 eastbound on-ramp at route 89.

Police say the collision caused a leak in one of the semi's fuel tanks, spilling fuel onto the roadway.

The driver of the striking semi refused treatment at the scene.

The east bound lanes were closed at the exit until about 6:30 this morning.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
