Pair arrested on drug charges after police witness transaction

ERIE, Pa. -- A man and a woman are behind bars after an Erie police lieutenant witnessed a drug deal between the pair.

Erie police Lt. Mike Nolan said Gena Groskopf, 39, sold heroin and crack cocaine to David Gnacinski, 52. Nolan, who is a member of the Erie County Drug and Task Force, witnessed the exchange.

Groskopf's charges include manufacture, delivery or possession with the intent to deliver and criminal mischief. She is in the Erie County Prison on 50,000 bond.

Gnacinski is charged with criminal conspiracy and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $25,000.
