Peek'n Peak takes part in attempt to break world record

CLYMER, N.Y. -- Peek'n Peak took part in an attempt to break a world record for the largest ski and snowboard lesson at one time.

Hundreds of ski resorts throughout the country, and even in Canada, gathered at the exact same time for ski lessons hoping to set a new world record on Friday.

In honor of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month in January, more than 100 people of all ages showed up to Peek'n Peak for the lesson. An attempt was made last year to break it, but it was unsuccessful. They hope this year will be different.

Peek'n Peak said they will know if they met the criteria to break the record in three to four days.
