Erie has a new restaurant with a unique dining area.
Pepperoni Paulie's held a grand opening tonight with a ribbon cutting, after a successful few weeks with a soft opening.
It's a new casual restaurant featuring Authentic Italian foods and a roof-top dining area. Its located right on state street.
The owner, who also owns McCoy's, says he wants to invest more into Downtown Erie.
"Its gotten a lot of exposure and a lot of the people are sharing pictures of the food. and we have had a ton of people coming into town all week to eat and hang out so its been a really really warm welcome, " said owner and manager, Matthew Orton.
Pepperoni Paulie's kitchen is open Monday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. The venue will soon feature DJ's and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
