Pirrello steps down as CEO of Montessori Regional Charter School

The Montessori Regional Charter School is looking for a new leader.   According to the Erie Times News, Anthony Pirrello has resigned from his position as CEO.  
According to a letter the school's Board of Trustees emailed to staff and families, his final day was Tuesday and Mark Zielinski has been named Interim Chief Academic Officer.  The letter, in its entirety, can be found here.  In regards to Pirrello's resignation, the MRCS Board of Trustees writes:
"...The Board of Trustees has accepted the resignation of Anthony Pirrello effective May 23, 2017.  While there may be rumors circulating as to the reasons for his departure, please understand that the Board of Trustees must keep all personnel matters confidential.  Our primary goal is to act in the best interest of the school (the students) and the taxpayers.  We are committed to governance that assures the best leadership for MRCS now and in the future... 
...The Board of Trustees will begin a formal search process to identify the next CEO of our organization.  Until such time that we make that final determination, the Board of Trustees has named Mark Zielinski as Interim Chief Academic Officer reporting directly to the Board.  Jane Binder, MRCS Director of Operations, will report to the Board on financial and operational performance..."
