Fallen Officers Remembered

ERIE, Pa - Wednesday May 17, 2017 - More than one hundred police officers and law enforcement officials lined South Park Row in downtown Erie for the annual Police Memorial Service.

The Erie County FOP Lodge #64 and City of Erie FOP Lodge #7 sponsored the annual service.

The service honors police officers who died in the line of duty. Each name of a fallen officer from the city, county and state police was read aloud. 

Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott presented a proclamation to the FOP naming today Police Memorial Day.

A wreath was laid at the FOP memorial in Perry Square.
