Police probe attempted robbery of downtown credit union

ERIE, Pa. -- Erie police are investigating an attempted robbery after a man walked into a downtown credit union and said that people outside were making him rob the credit union.

Police were called to the Erie Community Credit Union, 1129 State St., Wednesday afternoon after staff members called police indicating that a man told them he was being forced to rob the credit union.

Police were looking for two men and a woman involved in the incident.

No weapon was shown and no money was taken.
