"13 Reasons Why" leads National Association of School Psychologists to Respond

ERIE, Pa - In a lengthy letter, one local superintendent expresses concern to parents over a popular TV show their kids may be watching.

"13 Reasons Why" is a best selling novel, turned Netflix series, that follows the story behind a young girls suicide.

The National Association of School Psychologists issued cautions for educators and parents.

General McLane Superintendent, Richard Scaletta, made the choice to address the controversial series in his weekly column.

"Parents are kept out of the loop...so what we're trying to do is to get parents into that loop regarding this particular program."
