The weight of the ice and snow causes the roof to collapse at the Premier Sports Complex on West Ridge Road.
Part of the roof above the office space, bathrooms, and lobby collapsed while nearly 40 people were in the building. Fortunately, no one was injured. The owner says they're planning on tearing down about 2500 square feet of the damaged building. They hope to have it rebuilt within four to eight weeks. In the meantime, they will continue their operations at their east facility.
Owner Pedro Argaez says, "The safety of the children is our number one priority and everything else will be put back up and better than ever before. We're very confident that's going to happen."
