"Raising Dough for Kids Summer Slice" campaign raises money for local nonprofits

Make-A-Wish and Shriner's Hospital get donations

September 28, 2017 - ERIE, Pa - Pizza Hut's "Raising Dough for Kids Summer Slice" campaign generates $10,000 for two local non-profits.

Employees from the 17 Pizza Hut locations across northwestern Pennsylvania spent the summer selling paper pizza slices for one dollar. In three months, they sold 10,000 paper pizza slices. The employees chose to donate to "Make-A-Wish" Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia chapter and Shriner's Hospitals for Children of Erie.

Gregory Davis, the President of Atlantic Development Corporation of PA, says, "It's raising money for children that need help, need support and the money that we've been raising over the many, many years all stays here locally and helps children in northwest Pennsylvania."

Pizza Hut's fundraising efforts continue in the next few weeks. They'll be donating funds raised from their annual golf outing to TREC.
