Salvation Army raises $158,645, keeping drive open until New Year's

ERIE, Pa. -- The bells and red kettles may be gone for the season, but you can still help the Salvation Army reach its fundraising goals.

After bringing in more than $20,000 over the weekend, the Salvation Army was able to bring the total for this year up to $158,645. Despite the effort of a number of groups, fundraising totals are still short after the campaign ended Christmas Eve.

The Salvation Army is keeping the drive open until the first of the year, just without the bells and kettles. If you wish to donate you can pitch in either by mail, text or online.
