Send a soldier some love from home

A local business wants your help to give back to the troops.  Plantscape Greenhouses in Fairview is collecting letters for soldiers who can't be home for the holidays.  The owner tells us she started the project seven years ago.  They've already collected around 2,000 cards this season and they'll be accepting more through December.

Claudia Urda, Plantscape Owner, says, "I thought I had to do something and give something back. I'm an army brat and so I know the sacrifices that everyone makes and so I decided that I would do something and I thought cards would be great."

Plantscape has collected more than 25,000 cards over the six years.  People can drop off cards at JET 24 on Peach Street, at Classy 100 on Robison Road, at the Festival of Trees, and of course at Plantscape Greenhouses.
