The future of the Granada Apartment complex is still up in the air. The owners of the property getting a message from the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
A notice the property will go to sheriff's sale is posted at the property.
The sale is set for July 21st. However, Erie County Sheriff John Loomis says there is still time for the owners to address the legal issues before the sale.
Granada Apartment Holdings LLC and U.S. Bank filed the legal action against the owners, Granada Apartments LP and New York Limited Partnership.
Loomis says, "If there's no response and we don't get further instructions from the plantiff, the sale will go on at that date."
These financial issues come after five of the buildings were condemned because of issues including mold, collapsed ceilings, and walls that created fire hazards for residents
