ERIE, Pa. -- Strong Vincent's boys basketball coach Shannon Pullium delivered an inspirational speech to his team after their 73-64 PIAA Class 4A semifinal win over Quaker Valley on Tuesday night.
The video caught the attention of many on social media hours after Tuesday's game.
Pullium said he is using this platform to help inspire kids to come together and make a difference in a time of violence in some communities.
Pullium's son, Courtney Harden-Pullium, was charged with killing Rashid Anderson at a party in the former East Erie Turners in January 2014. Anderson is the brother of Strong Vincent assistant coach Darrell Roberts.
The two continue to work together, taking the Strong Vincent boys basketball team to the state finals in what could potentially the last year for the high school.
