Memorial Day Weekend is the last official stretch of the summer season for the park.
Lifeguards told us they might extend the season if the weather holds up.
Nearly 790-thousand people came to Presque Isle in July and around 600-thousand people made it out in August.
Park leaders said even with the spotty weather, they saw great crowds all summer.
"Even when you get a little bit less than ideal conditions for the peninsula as far as the beaches go, the trails are busy. There's bikers on the road. There's joggers. There's a lot of other activities," said John Dahlstrand, a lifeguard manager.
So far the park has seen more than 26-thousand visitors in September.
