SUV rolls over & catches fire on I-79

A rollover crash on Interstate 79 sent one person to the hospital last night.  The crash was reported just after 8:30 just south of the 26th Street exit.

Pennsylvania State Police say 23 year old Brianna Wilson was traveling north and tried to take the exit too fast, and instead, tried to swerve back onto the interstate.  Wilson lost control and went into the median, rolling the vehicle.

The SUV ended up in the southbound lanes and caught on fire.

Wilson and a passenger, 22 year old Taylor Harrington, were able to get out of the vehicle.  Wilson was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment of minor injuries.

Harrington was not injured.
